after the sale of the vehicle they will go silent on you. they will not help you anymore after that. if you buy a “clean vehicle” dont expect to get the tax credit bc they will not submit it on the IRS portal. Will NEVER buy again from them.
After buying 2 new vehicles from this dealership I was in the market for a new Camy. Called and had a pleasant conversation with sales lady who was to send me the information on the car we talked about. After receiving nothing, I called back multiple times & she was never available. Finally just gave up & ordered the car from another dealer. I dont have the time or energy to beg people to sell me a car.

I want to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for Dennis Risher. Although I did not purchase my vehicle from Dennis, he is the only person who helped me after I talked to multiple people at Toyota.
When I purchased a Camry, the dealership was to get me a second key, one floor mat, and a pin stripe. I was told by my salesman that the Toyota Corporation would mail me a second key, and the dealership would program it. No key was ever sent.

Service department tried to rip me off for $4000.
They told me my rack and pinion had leaked on my anti-knock sensors causing them to go bad. They told me it was no use replacing just the sensors as they will just get oil on them again and fail.
This is a physical impossibility. The anti-knock sensors are under the intake manifold on top of the engine.
The supervisor said they guy was mistaken, and an error code showed both bank 1 & 2 sensors are bad.
I have a code reader too. It showed only one bad sensor. A google search showed ... Read More

Be sure to do your homework when dealing with this dealership. They will try to rip you off. They wanted to give an 11% interest rate with a 747 credit score, knowing we qualified for the best interest rates. I still think we got ripped off but it is what it is. I would NEVER purchase another vehicle from this place. We wanted to support a local dealership but we usually go to Charlotte to buy cars. We also only got one key and that has been challenging. Buyer Beware is all I can say about these people.
I purchased a 2022 Rav4 from this location that did not come with the All Weather Matts. The Sales Associate, who they’ve let me know recently was fired for trying to take a customer out on a date and having multiple complaints from other customers, tried to get me to buy floor mats through him with with cash for $300 using his employee discount. I made a purchase but put in my wrong address and sent an email to Midlands Toyota to let them know my address was wrong, they immediately replied to the email saying they had corrected my address. I am very satisfied with service.
A followup on my review dated 1/17/23.... After having another mechanic look at the vehicle, the oil pan bolt was put on the last time by the dealer so tight it pulled the female part out. This dealer has now broken two oil plugs. Since MIDLANDS TOYOTA took over DICK DYER, and the oil change was performed by DICK DYER that broke the bolt, MIDLANDS TOYOTA will not take responsibility.

Service Department seems a bit shady now. We have two Toyotas, bought and serviced at Dick Dyer. The last time each vehicle went in for service, we were told the OIL PLUG is STRIPPED and we need a new oil pan. Same thing for two different vehicles.. One vehicle, they admitted they did all of the service, so they replaced the oil pan at no cost. This dealership is dishonest, specifically the service department. Stay away if you want to have your vehicle worked on properly and in a timely manner without being charged excessive amounts of fees that you never agreed upon.
Chris Ayers was AMAZING!! He went above and beyond to address our issues. He was patient, courteous and fair!! I would recommend Chris Ayers of Dick Dyar Toyota any day!!
Stay far away from them. Ordered a van and gave a deposit on Jan 20th 2022. Still have not received it. Jennifer Hanby and Jose Medina keep lying to me and pushing me off. They have had this van in stock multiple times but keep selling it to other customers who pay more. Apparently a signed agreement means nothing to them. They will screw you over to make an extra dollar. Toyota should end their partnership with them.

Communication with the service refer was very poor. Ref did not fulfill his part of the service by not returning the call to get a estimate cost before work was done on my vehicle. Also they tried to charge for replacing air filters that was basically new with theirs. Had a great service experience today at Dick Dyer Toyota. Brought vehicle in for 20,000 mile service and was satisfied beyond expectations.
Courteous service at desk, updates throughout process, good price on tires, spacious and comfortable waiting area
month and 1/2 later they have not followed up to fix the recall on our vehicle, Update: arrangements were made with a local dealership to fix the recall, Just waiting for minor body repair.
My service advisor was personable, thorough, and efficient. I bought my car brand new in 2019 from this dealership so I try to keep my service and maintenance. I had actually received a coupon in the mail for free 45k maintenance , but was disheartened when I lost it. I arrived at the dealership and found out that my tire rotations were included as a lifetime benefit since I purchased the vehicle from them. Woo hoo!
Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. However, I had made an appointment, but I still had to wait 30 minutes before they would take my car. It took them 3 1/2 hrs to rotate my tires and change my oil. That is why I did not give 5 stars.
Our salesman was very nice and helpful. Low pressure sales staff. We were happy with our experience.

My technician quickly solved a problem that another local dealership had been unable to fix after several attempts.
These guys are spectacular. The rest of this is so that I can meet the word minimum.
Overall service was good. Total wait time was about 2 hours, a bit longer than expected considering i had an appointment scheduled but service level was prompt and professional, and answered all of my questions and concerns in detail.

My car has been there over a month because the mechanics did not fix the issue I had and they created several more. They initially replaced a part and told me the car was fixed. Front desk gentleman was awesome, super helpful and friendly. Had a good chat about some football as well. When they rotated tires, they did not balance the PSI back out. Fixed myself in the morning. Was just overlooked.

Unfortunately, I can’t remember the gentleman’s name who helped me yesterday but he certainly looked out for my best interest and was also very informative.
My tires were changed quickly and the services was hospitable and professional. Fitzs made sure I knew the status of my car and checked to see if I needed anything.
The first time I came to see the car I bought, I was offered a price I liked. When it was ready, I came back to finish the paperwork and pay. At that time, I was told the price would be several thousand dollars above the originally agreed price. Joshua fought and got the price back to the original and I left a happy person.
The driver's side seat was clean but the passages side was not. I also thought for a card that was worth $400, that they would have buffed out the small scratches.
